This third CD in Liquid Mind's elegant series of slow and tranquil music transports many listeners to a place of inner peace and deep calm. Like the other Liquid Mind albums, Liquid Mind III: Balance is serene and lush, and seeks to float the listener along in a gentle healing stream of sound.
For many listeners, the music of Liquid Mind is great music to massage to, great music to create to, great music to go to sleep by, great music for intimate moments with a loved one. This functional and peaceful album is used by some parents to quiet hyperactive children, and to assist themselves in going back to sleep in the middle of a difficult night.

I originally wrote the music of Liquid Mind to help myself and my friends and family dealing with the anxiety & stress of working long hours and many jobs to support their families, and also for friends and family dealing with the stress of life-threatening illnesses like cancer & HIV. Though I make no scientific claims for this music, the Liquid Mind albums seem to have an immediate "slowing down" effect on many listeners, and may also help others get to sleep, and calm down after a tension-filled day. The ultimate compliment to me is that people fall asleep or deeply relax to my music. This is functional music, it seeks to serve the purpose of assisting us to be tranquil, when that may not be easy in today's world. That is why the compositions are longer than normal, and very slow in tempo. This music is very special to me, it is my labor of love, I hope you enjoy it.
The production values on this elegant album reflect the fact that Wild has worked with many world-class artists, both as writer, synthesist, arranger, and producer. Chuck is known for his work as synthesist & keyboard player in the 80's group Missing Persons, as studio sound designer & arranger for Michael Jackson and many others, as a songwriter (over 60 songs recorded for TV, film & albums since 1988, including You're My One and Only, #1 hit in Europe for Jennifer Rush), and composer Max Headroom (Emmy-winning series).
When Wild started releasing the albums in 1994 commercially, the first people to report good results using the Liquid Mind albums were health practitioners, chiropractors and massage therapists, followed soon by other alternative healthcare specialists.
Since the Liquid Mind albums became more widely distributed in 1995, Liquid Mind albums have become favorites of many people deal with stress and health issues.

Great Meditation Music!
I purchased this because the Reiki master I go to uses it, and it is always so helpful in setting the space for me to fully open energetically and relax. Because I work in the healing arts I was seeking something that would put me at ease for my clients, and set the mood nicely for them. I have loved this and listen to it nearly every day! Fabulous CD that I would recommend to anyone looking to relax and create a peaceful environment.
