From the artist
I originally wrote the music of Liquid Mind to help myself and my friends and family dealing with the anxiety & stress of working long hours and many jobs to support their families, and also for friends and family dealing with the stress of life-threatening illnesses like cancer & HIV. While I make no scientific claims for this music, the Liquid Mind albums seem to have an immediate "slowing down" effect on some listeners, and may also help others get to sleep, or just calm down after a tension-filled day. The ultimate compliment to me is that people fall asleep or deeply relax to my music. This is functional music: It seeks to serve the purpose of assisting us to be tranquil, when that may not be easy in today's world. That is why the compositions are longer than normal, and very slow in tempo. This music is very special to me. It is my labor of love. I hope you'll enjoy it.
from the label
The excellent production values on the Liquid Mind albums reflect Chuck Wild's extensive experience working with many world-class artists, as songwriter, synthesist, composer, and arranger. Wild was first known for his work as synthesist & keyboard player in the 80's Capitol records artists "Missing Persons", and more recently as a songwriter (over 80 songs recorded since 1988 for film, TV, and albums, including "You're My One and Only", #1hit in Europe for Jennifer Rush), as co-composer of Max Headroom (Emmy-winning series), and as studio sound designer for Michael Jackson and many others.
When Wild started releasing the Liquid Mind albums in 1994, the first persons to use them were alternative healthcare practitioners, chiropractors and massage therapists, followed soon by more mainstream medical practitioners, who report utilizing the music in clinical situations to assist in relaxation. Since the Liquid Mind albums became more widely distributed in 1995, they have become favorites of those who use music for relaxation, meditation, and stress relief.

Is a master at beautiful ambient music
Chuck Wild, AKA Liquid Mind, is a master at beautiful ambient music. All of his recordings ( I have them ), are marvelous, and similar in structure and feeling. This CD, and other Liquid Mind music, is used by therapists and meditation leaders as the perfect background to aid in relaxation and re-focusing thought.
If you really just want to zone out, or tune in to quiet meditation, this is for you. The music flows and swells with a full bodied synthesized sound that carries the listener on an ever opening and expanding path, sometimes like watching a flower bloom in stop action, and sometimes like watching ever changing currents in a stream, or clouds changing shape as they float by. Chuck Wild is an excellent keyboardist and composer who has devoted himself to this type of music, which is related to chill, but really is warm and inviting, soothing, and something you should never listen to while driving or operating heavy equipment or power tools. It is excellent for late night relaxation.
